Based on FLE's FUSION technology, we have produced a reference design for the Xilinx Spartan3E-500 REVISION D Evaluation board.

The reference design will demonstrate the following concepts

  • Use Xilinx IMPACT to download a pre-built bitstream into the SP3E-500
  • Use a series of pre-built Bootloader and Kernel Images to install FLE FUSION Linux
  • Follow the tutorial examples to control the LCD, Switches, LEDs
  • Follow the tutorial examples to demonstrate a web-server, flash file system, and remote firmware updating processes
  • Demonstration of the FREE-FROM-FLE EthernetMAC Core
  • Demonstration of the FREE-FROM-FLE LCD Controller Core
  • The reference design is provided under the F3 License Program

You can download the pre-built files and the tutorial by clicking on the "SP3E Pre-Built Fusion Files" button shown below.

You can download the Xilinx Platform Studio source files for the reference design using the button shown below.

You will also need the SolarWinds TFTP Server in order to follow allowing with the tutorial. You can download the SolarWinds TFTP Server, for FREE, under the Individual Files menu on the left side of the screen.
