  Finger Lakes Engineering specializes in the development of Xilinx FPGA devices. FLE has produced designs using simple “glue-logic” CPLDs through the latest Xilinx Virtex5 LX220 devices.

  Our FPGA designs can be found in real-time image processing systems, gigabit ethernet network aggregators, 3-phase motor control systems, and space-flight hardware.

  Finger Lakes Engineering provides embedded firmware development, Linux application development, Windows GUI development, and device driver development support to complement our Hardware design services.

  FLE has development experience in Visual Basic, Visual C++, Visual C#, embedded C, embedded C++, and assembly language. Our software components have been targeted for PIC processors, ARM9, ARM11, Microblaze, x86, 8051, 80x166 cores, and PowerPC architectures.

  Finger Lakes Engineering utilizes a direct web-based media sharing systems allowing simple “remote access” to any customer site anywhere in the world for sharing both documents and design data.

  FLE also maintains a high performance Intel Xenon 64-bit Quad Core workstation providing 32GB of DDR2-SDRAM and 1 Terabyte of storage space. This system is specifically tasked for compilation of large Virtex4 and Virtex5 FPGAs.
